Pressurized Systems

Prevent friction build-up when machining with higher RPM tools and rapid stock feeders

From the very beginning of our company, we have known how frustrating it is to flood your higher RPM tools and rapid stock feeds with lubrication. The oil fog it creates makes for an unhealthy work environment. The overspray and excess fluid are messy to clean up. Oil-soaked chips are difficult to remove, nearly impossible to recycle and expensive to dispose.

So we engineered pressurized systems that create either a fine particle atomization with water-based coolants (for fast, cooling evaporation) or a near-dry mist with straight oils, including our exclusive, biodegradable Coolube™ lubricants. Because the operator precisely determines how much compressed air and fluid mix in the nozzle tip, the lubricant can be almost any viscosity needed for your application. Run this system just one day and you will see a positive difference in lubrication performance and the cleanliness of your shop!

Your Low Volume/Low Pressure Mist Solution

Our low volume/low pressure(LVLP) systems are pressurized to a low 15 to 30 psi. Add a solenoid or air pilot valve and the system will automatically shut down or resume with the tool's normal operation. Valves control both air and liquid shut-off and operate instantaneously when a signal is supplied from the tool. Both valves can control up to six, in-use nozzles siumltaneously and are built robust for years of trouble-free service.

See how the right pressurized system can improve your equipment performance:

  • uni-MIST System. Configure this portable, pressurized system to reduce fogging and overspray problems in your easiest to most challenging lubrication applications.
  • mini-MIST System. We found a way to engineer all the features of the larger, uni-MIST System into this compact, completely self-contained model.
  • Powercool Thru-the-Tool® System. This is the only mist coolant system of its kind for coolant-fed or hollow-spindle applications.
  • Parts, Accessories & Fluid Supplies. UNIST is your source for original manufacturer equipment replacement aparts and components for your lubrication systems. Plan on us shipping most orders within 24 hours of receipt.
