    UNIST HQ Dear Steve,

Welcome to our new subscribers! Micro-Mail is the news and application e-mail which reports the scope of possibilities for Micro-Fluidization. Our customers lubricate better, consume less, and save money in their processes.

We hope your summer is going well and perhaps you are enjoying some needed R&R. However, we encourage you to use this time to plan for process improvements in your operations, and to contact us to give you some help related to your production and machine lubrication.

Our customers are having great success in lubricating better for less, and we help them to be environmentally responsible. Have a great summer...and give us a call.

    Evolution in the Industrial Media
    Swarfblog - June 23, 2009

The industrial media is a valued partner for UNIST, Inc.; an important part of the company's ability to educate and inform customers, and new inquirers about lubrication products and services. Through editorial coverage and advertising these publications have been an integral part of manufacturing businesses for decades.

For more than a few years changes have been churning in the trade media, the result of communication's natural evolution, the Internet and new challenges and directions in the industries these media serve. The result has been financial struggle for many of the large media companies and a quiet exit off the scene for some publications; big or small. Some media companies continue to thrive, adapting to the new communication landscape.

Lloyd Graff, is a friend of UNIST, a long time machining industry player via his company Graff- Pinkert and Co., and owner of the successful magazine Today's Machining World. Lloyd recently paid tribute on his blog to one of the trade media's long time players who recently decided to close up shop. UNIST also salutes Don Wood, along with many others who continue to labor in the fluid and competitive field of trade journalism.
