Collapsible Nozzles for Horizontal Band Saw Blade and Guide

Introducing two new MQL nozzles for horizontal band sawing. These nozzles attach easily to the leading blade guide to convert the saw to minimum quantity lubrication. Saws already using a UNIST system can also be modified to use the new nozzle.

The Collapsible Blade Nozzle straddles the blade with legs that spray upward into the blade teeth. The Guide Nozzle can be added to the Collapsible Blade Nozzle to lubricate the upper portion of blades that exceed 1" in width.

An information sheet is available on the UNIST web site.

"On-Shoring" - Is Some US Manufacturing Returning Home?
    Postcrecent.com

While globalization continues its momentum, there are good business reasons why some manufacturers who moved off shore are looking to return their operations to the US. Efficiency, quality, access to materials and control of production are just a few reasons the grass abroad may not be greener after all.

MWF Controversy Continues with New Petition
The Lube Report - May 2010

Critical issues surround air quality standards in metalworking facilities. For almost two decades the UAW has tried to get the OSHA to create and enforce permissible levels for exposure to metalworking fluids.*** On April 28 the union has once again petitioned the OSHA to take action.

***UNIST industrial lubrication systems have already been proven in a documented study to maintain exposure below the UAW proposed limits. Contact the UNIST home office or your local UNIST representative to learn more details.
